Our goal at itison is to provide you the best possible service: to tell you about great events taking place in your city for which you can purchase tickets (Events Service) and deliver you great deals for which you can buy vouchers (Deal Service). The following terms and conditions of use are designed to ensure you fully understand that itison provides tickets to events and vouchers supplied by third party companies (Merchants) with their own rules and regulations.
We acknowledge that you may be joining itison to use the Events Service or the Deal Service separately or together (collectively known as the Services). In all cases, you understand that you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions relevant to the service you use.
Whilst itison has processes in place to ensure each Merchant conforms to high standards, itison accepts no responsibility or liability for any information posted by Merchants on itison or any loss, damage or injury sustained at an event or through the purchase of a voucher or ticket. To report any issues regarding a Merchant please email itison at support@itison.com.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before proceeding to join itison ("the Service"). By registering for use of the Service you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and will be legally bound by them whether or not you choose to read them and they will continue to apply every time you use the Service.
We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and the new terms and conditions will then apply to any future orders by you. Details of amendments will be posted on this website.
To register or make a purchase from this Site (www.itison.com) you must be over eighteen years of age and have a compatible computer.
Delivery will be made to the email address you provided when joining. We aim to deliver Services promptly but we do not promise that delivery or access will happen immediately nor are we liable for any problems, delays or losses in respect of delivery or access arising out of any cause beyond our control. Without limitation, we shall not be responsible for any problem you may experience with the Services due to the act or fault of any telecoms provider, internet service provider and/or technology supplier; systems maintenance (we shall try to keep this to a minimum and outside of peak hours, wherever reasonably possible); any incompatibility or technical fault in respect of your computer hardware software and/or systems and/or mobile phone; your joining details are inaccurate or out-of-date; your email in-box or your phone message mailbox is full; you are not following any instructions we give you for using the Site or accessing the Services; your mobile phone is out of range or for some other reason cannot be contacted or any other circumstance where we send you or grant you access to a particular Service but you are unable to receive it through no fault of our own. Further, the Service is subject to the limitations of the enabling technology on which it is reliant and may be adversely affected by network performance and other operational factors beyond our control including without limitation congestion, network coverage, dropped connections, the performance of your own device and the maintenance and support of secure network connections. We accept no responsibility if you do not receive the Service for any of these reasons. If for any reason we are unable to supply a particular Service, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to permanently withdraw any Services, in which event you will be entitled to a refund of any fees already paid by you to the extent that the fees relate to use of the Services following the withdrawal date.
Your email address, username and password is personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to access itison. You will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of itison. If you believe that someone may be using your email address, username or password fraudulently you should notify itison by emailing support@itison.com.
We will use reasonable skill and care in making the Services available to you. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided by us without any warranties or guarantees. In particular, we do not warrant that the Site or any of its contents is virus free. You must take your own precautions in this respect as we accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything which has destructive properties. Although we will do our best to provide constant, uninterrupted access to the Services on the Site, we do not guarantee this. We accept no responsibility or liability for any interruption or delay. To the full extent allowed by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or are related to the Site or the Services. We will use reasonable endeavours to promptly remedy any faults in the Services of which we are aware. If we are found to be liable to you, our liability (whether arising in negligence or otherwise) will not under any circumstances exceed an amount equal to the sums paid or payable by you in respect of the Service to which such liability relates. Nothing in these terms of use shall exclude our liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.
The Events Service allows you to either purchase tickets or sign up to a guest list for events promoted on this Site. By placing an order for a ticket you make an offer to purchase the ticket selected on the terms and conditions stated.
itison sells tickets on behalf of promoters, producers, teams, performers and venues (Merchants). Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed (significant changes being a change of headline act (concerts only), venue or time).
When tickets are being collected at the box office a copy of your printed ticket must be surrendered for redemption. On occasion the Merchant may ask that the cardholder presents the card that the tickets were booked on as identification.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen.
Tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions of the Merchant and/or event. Full details are available on the event website or at the venue box office. Breach of any of these terms and conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall entitle the Merchant to eject you from the venue.
We would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, being or appearing to be under age (age restrictions on tickets may apply), declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.
Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us at support@itison.com for information on whether you are entitled to receive a refund from the responsible party. Please note, however, it is the customer's responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and itison cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes to the event date, time or venue. If an event is moved from its advertised venue and/or the date is changed, tickets already purchased may remain valid should the customer wish to attend the revised event.
Neither the Merchant nor itison shall have any further liability beyond the value of the ticket. Neither the Merchant nor itison shall be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence and accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. The Merchant and itison accept no responsibility for any personal property.
All places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Receipt of an invitation does not guarantee you a place.
Vouchers printed from this Site are promotional vouchers that may be purchased from Merchants through itison to be used in exchange for goods and services at a discount from their actual cost. By placing an order for a Voucher you make an offer to purchase the Vouchers you have selected on the terms and conditions stated. You are required to create an account in order to purchase any Voucher.
The Voucher you purchase is redeemable for goods or services by the Merchant. The Merchant, not itison, is the provider of the goods or services of the Voucher and responsible for redeeming any Voucher you purchase.
All Vouchers shall be subject to the terms and conditions of itison and the participating Merchant. The Merchant are the providers of the goods or services which you are purchasing, not itison.
The Merchant shall be fully responsible for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs suffered by or in respect of a customer, caused in whole or in part by the Merchant, as well as for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed Vouchers or portions thereof. You waive, and release itison from, any claim, liabilities, damages, or injury arising from or related to any act or omission of Merchant in connection with a Voucher or the services/goods provided in connection therewith and/or as it relates to compliance with applicable unclaimed property and other laws relating to the redemption of the Vouchers or any portion thereof. Vouchers are redeemable in their entirety and on a one time basis only and may not be redeemed incrementally. Nothing within these terms waives your rights under card scheme rules in relation to Chargebacks.
Once you have completed the transaction to purchase a Voucher, you may cancel the transaction at any time within 14 days from the date you receive the Voucher by contacting us at support@itison.com and in each case provided you have not yet redeemed the Voucher.
The Voucher may be subject to further terms and limitations made clear on the Voucher and subject to the further terms and conditions of the Merchant. Vouchers expire on the date specified on the Voucher.
The Merchant nor itison take responsibility for lost or stolen Vouchers or Voucher reference numbers used to make a redemption with a Merchant.
It is at the discretion of the Merchant to determine whether Vouchers can be combined with any other promotions, vouchers, or offers.
Vouchers purchased for a Merchant who offers food and beverage are subject to the applicable laws for the sale, provision and redemption of alcohol.
itison charges a fee to customers for the right to use the Service (the "Service Fee"). Any Service Fee is disclosed to customers before completing an order. When you place an order you are agreeing to pay all charges for your voucher including the Listed Price and Service Fee (collectively, the "Order Total"). itison reserves the right to change the Service Fee at any time. The Service Fee is non-refundable.
All information received by us from your registration and/or your use of the Site and/or your purchase of the Services will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use. Any personal data collected will be used solely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988, any amendment or re-enactment thereof. We respect the personal information provided by you. We will only transfer this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and as may be required to provide the Services to you.
The Site and/or the Services may contain advertising material and/or promotions of third parties and links to the websites of third parties ("Advertising"). Such third parties are solely responsible for the content of such Advertising and for the information, products and services on their websites. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for the Advertising, information, products or services of third parties, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy. Some Advertising may not be relevant to you. Some Advertising may be governed by special terms and where this is the case, you are advised to read these carefully as such special terms will take precedence over any conflicting terms in this Agreement. In many instances, the content available through this Site represents the opinions and judgments of the respective information provider, end user, or other user not under contract with itison. itison neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made on itison by anyone other than authorised itison employee spokespersons while acting in official capacities. Under no circumstances will itison be liable for any loss or damage caused by an end user’s reliance on information obtained through itison. It is the responsibility of End User to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, opinion, advice, or other content available through itison.
In the event that an Event or Deal is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, itison reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for vouchers or tickets listed at the incorrect price. itison reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, itison shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
The Services, the Site, and the terms of this Agreement are governed by Scots law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
