Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open
First played in 1972, this year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open comes to the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club. Just a mile north of Aberdeen at Balgownie links, this historical course is ranked among Scotland’s top 12 and the epitome of a traditional challenging course, with a dramatic setting alongside the dramatic North Sea.
Ten Major Champions will play at this year's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open including defending champion Phil Mickleson, Ian Woosnam, Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke, Justin Rose, Ernie Els, Sir Nick Faldo, Padraig Harrington, Paul Lawrie, José Maria Olazábal and Louis Oosthuizen.
The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel
Built in 1856, The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel is one of Aberdeen's oldest hotels. A much loved landmark in the city centre and just 500m from both Union Street and Union Square, it has recently undergone a luxury refurbishment.
With transport to and from the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open from the hotel included, we can’t think of anywhere more suited to relax in style and prolong your amazing day out a little longer.

- Event starts at 9am, hospitality closes at 7pm.
- All tickets must be collected at The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel prior to attending the event by presenting your printed voucher – tickets can be collected 24 hours a day.
- Overnight stay: check in 2pm, check out 11am, bags can be left at the hotel prior to check in.
- Valid for 18 yrs old plus, children are not permitted in hospitality. Valid ID may be required.
- Limited parking is available at a charge of £5 per day – the hotel is just a short walk from Aberdeen Train Station.
- Dresscode: smart casual attire (no blue denim or football colours) and sensible shoes should be worn. Please note that metal spikes are not allowed.
- Return transport will either be executive buses or private hire taxis depending on numbers.
- Wheelchair access - please discuss any accessibility requirements in advance.
- Breakfast, lunch, complimentary bar and afternoon tea will all be served within the hospitality area.
- No pets permitted.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted and can be used for the same booking. They can also be used for consecutive nights stay, please advise when booking.
- Advanced booking required, please book as soon as possible. Transfers to/from The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel are included and must be arranged at the time of booking.
- Vouchers are non transferable and non refundable once booked unless the event is cancelled.
