Nestled in 44 acres of lush landscaped garden, Thainstone House Hotel and Spa is a majestic mansion house situated in the very heart of rural Aberdeenshire, just 12 miles out of the City Centre and just a mile away from Inverurie.

A lovely warm welcome at this traditional Scottish hotel from Gwen at reception and the rest of the staff made us feel quite at home. The food was delicious and having breakfast looking out at the sunrise was spectacular!

We had an evening meal here there were four of us . We all raved about how good our meal was the food was amazing! The staff were so helpful and our room was great the bed was comfy and there were nice fluffy towels . We would return. There are tartan carpets, Scottish music playing in the background and big coal fires .
