- He was the first guitarist ever to be selected for BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists scheme, to be awarded a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship and, in 2018, to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Young Artists
- Accolades for his recordings include two Gramophone Awards and an Opus Klassik
- He is also the 2022 recipient of the Leonard Bernstein Award
- His programme demonstrates the variety of repertoire which makes him such a compelling artist

just one small thing, service in the cafe was a wee bit slow.

The show - story line and cast were absolutely excellent the seat I was allocated for my Itison voucher was also great and I think excellent value for money.
Overall a great way to spend 2 and 1/2 hours.
Only downside I did find the theatre auditorium quite chilly and went fir a coffee at the interval to warm myself up a bit.
