The experience
- Includes a warm welcome with a tea, coffee, whisky or local beer topped off with the legendary Kartel shortbread
- Begin by learning about the local history of watchmaking as well as the story of Kartel, an independent Scottish watch company born in 2014
- Be guided through the process of choosing your case, dial and strap up to the value of £245 before assembling them yourself, with the master watch-builder on hand to help out
- Plus get the opportunity to operate the engraving machine and engrave your case back with a personal message!
- With a range of case shapes and designs plus a vast range of straps including leather, stainless steel and fabric, there's something to suit everyone's style

- Voucher is valid from Mon 8 Jan 2024 until Sun 31 Mar 2024, Sun - Fri at 10am and 3pm only; subject to availability.
- Excludes Saturdays.
- Voucher must be booked by Fri 1 Mar 2024 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
- You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking.
- Online booking only.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Bought two vouchers as a gift for myself and my boyfriend for Christmas. We weren't sure what to expect and came away with huge smiles on our faces! From the welcome beer to the knowledge of the staff and how they guided us through the experience, everything was great. We had loads of fun mixing and matching watch faces and straps before deciding on our favourites and we were really chuffed with what we came away with. Great value, and the warranty and service from Kartel is also excellent. So glad we went and would highly recommend to anyone, loved it!

Found the shop easily but was very early for the afternoon appointment, I had traveled a long way. Decided to nip in and enquire if I could change to a morning appointment. The staff could not have more accommodating and offered the experience straight away more or less.
Being a watch/clock tinkerer I found it very interesting. My ‘host’ offered hospitality before a brief on the history of Kartel and watchmaking in Scotland.
A review of the range available followed including the internal systems.
All in all I enjoyed the experience.
