When I made a reservation I forgot to ask for a room with walk in shower. On arrival we found the allocated room had a shower over bath. Receptionist offered a higher grade room with walk in shower, at no extra charge.
Overall impression was a well managed hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. -

I arrived early and was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel to allow me to explore. All of the staff were very welcoming.and friendly. After a 10 mile hike I booked in to a very spacious, comfortable room with quality furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't have dinner as I ate when I was out but both mornings I had a lovely breakfast, great choice on the menu and perfectly poached eggs both days. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. One of the nicest hotels I've been in recently. Three minute walk from the ferry and bus station. Perfect!
