About today's deal

Across the country, thousands of individuals and families have fallen through the gaps of support and are struggling: homeless people who need now-closed food banks, families reliant on school meals, and people on low incomes who have lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic.

We’re partnering with Social Bite to get food packs to as many individuals and families as possible, and we need your help to do it. For every £5 donation, Social Bite will be able to provide a meal to someone who desperately needs it.

If you’re able to, please donate now, and spread the word. Together, we can do this.

Vital information

  • For every £5 donation, Social Bite is able to provide a fresh food pack to someone in need
  • Social Bite has already been able to help thousands, but demand grows every single day and donations like yours will allow them to help the most vulnerable people in the country
  • The charity is working with over 75 organisations across Scotland to reach those in need including Glasgow’s Simon Community Hub, Brunstane Primary School in Edinburgh, Dundee’s Kirton Community Centre and Aberdeen Cyrenians
  • As well as delivering directly to charities and community groups, Social Bite’s own cafes are open for those experiencing homelessness
  • Social Bite’s fans include Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Nicola Sturgeon and Sir Chris Hoy, as well as thousands of amazing itison members
  • 1 in 3 of Social Bite's workforce are from homeless backgrounds. Your donation is not only providing a meal, but also helping Social Bite to break the cycle through employment

Help those in need

The homeless and vulnerable people supported by Social Bite on a daily basis have been some of the worst affected by the COVID-19 crisis, with many of the food and support services they rely on shutting down because of the outbreak. Alongside those experiencing homelessness, there are thousands more people experiencing food poverty: families who were relying on free school meals to help feed their kids and those who have lost work because of the impact of the crisis.

With schools shutting, thousands losing their jobs, and many elderly and vulnerable people unable to leave their homes, it’s never been more important that we look out for one another. By donating today, you’ll be putting food on the tables of individuals and families across Scotland who truly need our help to get through this.
