Today’s deal will see you and up to three lucky loved ones enjoy a sublime afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco each at Strathaven Hotel. Dining in the recently-refurbished restaurant, this makes for the perfect place to tuck into a three-tiered stand of dainty delights including freshly made finger sandwiches with fillings like Scotch beef & horseradish, Ayrshire Dunlop cheddar & pickle, and cucumber & mint, as well as freshly baked fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and homemade preserves. You’ll then finish with a sweet selection of cakes as well as a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee – bliss!

This was my second visit to the Strathaven Hotel, once for afternoon tea and then for the grazing board. On both occasions the staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was tasty and portions generous. We weren’t rushed off the table and despite there being events on both times, it wasn’t noisy or disturbing. The hotel interior is fresh and modern, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend.
