- Treacle cured Loch Duart salmon with potato royale, cauliflower puree, coriander & mint relish, smoked eel, cucumber and avruga caviar

- North Sea hake with salsify tagliatelle, potato beignets, confit fennel, sea herbs and vermouth velouté

- Seared fillets of John Dory with salsify tagliatelle, potato beignets, confit fennel, sea herbs and vermouth velouté
- Roast loin and glazed faggot of wild Cairngorm venison with herb mousse, red cabbage, beetroot fondant, beetroot and blackberry purée and Grand Veneur sauce

Our experience showed it to be a reputation well deserved
Reviewed on
Welcoming and unhurried. The food was lovely and some courses quite original, such that we wondered how they were conceived and prepared. The staff were very professional and seemed to enjoy the service they gave. Tucked away as the restaurant may be it is very well worth the effort to go there.
