House for an Art Lover
- Originally designed to be an elegant country retreat for tasteful socialites, the house is set within the magnificent 169 acre grounds of Bellahouston Park
- In 1901, Glasgow's very own Charles Rennie Mackintosh entered a competition to design a "Haus Eines Kunstfreundes", or "Art Lovers House"
- Despite being disqualified on technical grounds, the judges were impressed with Mackintosh's unique design
- More than 70 years on, and Mackintosh's concept became a stunning and truly inspirational reality
- The fun doesn't stop there - make a day of it by exploring the maze, or wandering around the Victorian walled garden
