I went principally to see the Quilts that were on show and these were excellent.
I would like to see more seating within the exhibition space as some of us need an occasional rest while viewing exhibits. -

The show was very interesting as it included The Creative Craft Show, The Stitching Show and The Scottish Quilting Show. There were loads of stands selling fascinating items, mostly for paper and fabric based crafts, although other crafts were catered for as well. Speaking of catering, there were several stalls selling food, although not the takeaway meal kind. I booked two 90 minute workshops which were both very well taught. The VIP ticket gave access to a special seating area with as much free tea, coffee and cold drinks as I wanted. The other very useful benefit was the bag drop facility. Lots of people were using it to leave the purchases they had made. I left my outdoor coat in a bag as the show hall was quite warm. There is a similar event this autumn. I hope ITISON will offer reduced price tickets for that one.
