  • Awesome start to finish

    Reviewed on

The staff at The Peat Inn are one of the best groups. There attention to detail and friendliness is wonderful. Although the itison voucher only gave a small discount from the usual lunch menu it was lovely to go back for a visit. It was so popular and full when we went that we had to park on the street. The food was lovely my favourites were the Jerusalem artichoke soup and the apple souffle. Hubby loved all his dishes and went for the fish option for every course and loved the hake the best. Well worth the long drive.

  • Practically perfect!

    Reviewed on

My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay at the Peat Inn where the welcome and service was very good and the food was superb. The accommodation was lovely but there were a couple of slightly negative points in the restaurant. Firstly, it was a bit chilly which affected my wife more than me but in any case it wasn't as cosy as it should have been, and secondly, the service was a bit rushed. While the food was all delicious, we found that we had barely finished one course when the next appeared. A longer pause between each service would have been preferable.
