Accessibility

Elfingrove is for everyone

We’re working hard to make Elfingrove as accessible as possible – here’s more on the facilities we have available…

Relaxed sessions

This year we are introducing relaxed sessions for autistic people, those with learning disabilities or any other sensory or communication needs. Both sound and lighting will be adjusted to a more ambient level and sessions will be much quieter with a reduced capacity. Find out more and book a session

Disabled access and facilities

Motorised and manual wheelchair users are welcome to skate at Elfingrove – please make sure to contact the team at elfingrove@itison.com ahead of booking your tickets so we can ensure you’re booked in for a session which will allow you to enjoy the experience in a full and safe way.

Mobility scooters are also welcome on the ice – or to come spectate – disabled access is available.

We have disabled toilets at Elfingrove throughout the event and from the 5th – 11th of December we will also have a Changing Places toilet to help people with complex care needs.

We have limited Blue Badge spaces available within the Kelvingrove Museum car park which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note the car park is operated by City Parking.

Carer tickets

A disabled person purchasing a ticket may bring one carer free of charge, subject to availability and only when booked in advance. To arrange a carer ticket, please email elfingrovecarers@itison.com quoting your purchased ticket code. Please also ensure you bring a valid form of identification with you on the night.
