The setting is lovely and the staff were really nice. The food was okay. Any improvement might be free top ups for tea and coffee but otherwise good.

I booked this as my friend was up from Manchester, it’s a great location stunning views. The afternoon tea was lovely very fresh & lovely selection. The staff were all lovely friendly & attentive, my friend loved it was a relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Overall very disappointing, 3 x 2 bite size sandwiches each, with basic fillings- egg mayo ok, ham and mustard- overpowering with mustard and cheese and pickle with more pickle than cheese, 3 bite size cakes pretty bland and a small fruit scone with cream and jam, came out still feeling hungry. I honestly could have eaten the whole amount on my own. Afternoon tea is a very basic menu and the least you can expect is to get a decent portion that fills you up.
Can’t fault the venue and the service staff but food quality and portions poor

As expected. Staff very friendly. Requested a table at window when I booked which they had kept for us even tho the place was busy
