Really good but pricey

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The food was exceptional and all the staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. What a pleasure it is to stay in a hotel where staff are well- trained and make you feel as if they are pleased to see you. It is not always the case nowadays!
The only small quibble was that the bathroom could have done with some modernising but we had everything we could have needed in practical terms.

Beautiful old style Scottish building set in beautiful grounds on the banks of the river Tay. Staff were all so helpful and friendly. Room, ( in November) was warm and comfortable and the food on the dinner menu was to die for. We stayed two nights, and will definitely be back.

Very much enjoyed relaxing escape in lovely surroundings. Even better experience than a few months ago.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable.
Food enjoyabe though evening meals a little pricey for limited chouce and small portions.
Only thing that marred stay slightly was a group of 4 noisy , dominating adults who inconsideratly spoiled the peaceful ambiance earlier in the drawing room.

We had a wonderful stay - in fact we have booked to return. Food is absolutely amazing with a comprehensive wine list. Rooms are lovely and spacious and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

A major benefit apart from the above is that we can take our dog.

Staff very helpful & welcoming.
Food excellent
Only problem was the room was excessively hot through the night due to the water pipes which run under the floor keeping the room very warm. Even with windows open the room stayed warm.
