Nick Nairn was chatting away to everyone as they entered the restaurant
Truly sumptuous food
The best chicken wings I've ever tasted and I've certainly had a few in my time
Extremely enjoyable wine, very palatable
The staff were helpful and attentive

felt badly let down by the quality of food....chk wings greasy, sole fillets overcooked, bog-standard pasta (pretty tasteless sauce with FIVE tiny bits of chorizo) cheap/nasty skinny fries.......However, celeriac & cauliflower soup soup delicious albeit tiny serving and homemade vanilla ice cream was fab

Great value for money. Great ambience. Friendly staff.

We all enjoyed our food albeit from a special lunch menu restricted from the a la carte. Wine and coffee were extra but good and reasonably priced. Peas instead of salad with the sole goujons would be better and a larger plate to better present the lemon posset and raspberry sorbet, which were delicious.

Bought this voucher for a Christmas gift. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the service is great. Very limited choice for the 3 courses though. Three options only for each course which was disappointing especially for main course as two of the options were pizza or pasta. Food was delicious though. Wouldn’t rush back as it’s a long drive (1 hour) for a pizza
