We had a lovely time in Glasgow and staying at the Ibis. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean

Lovely hotel..very clean and fresh..comfortable and well appointed room..staff very pleasant to deal with too...great location..close to all the city centre eateries and bars..Bed very comfortable..room was very warm..but few tweeks to air con and was perfect..
Breakfast which was included was very tasty with plenty options and selections...1 o clock check in and 1 o vlock check out was also very welcome...isnt often you get a full 24 hours..most places want you in as late as possible and then want you out as early as they can get rid of you..but not at this IBIS...was sorry to leave after just one night

Nothing what I expected. Had to chase up our ‘welcome amenity’. Was given the wrong times for breakfast service at check in so we missed breakfast which was included in the deal with absolutely no assistance or help from staff.
Then with a late check out as part of our deal we were getting a knock at the door at 12.15 saying we should have been checked out at 12! No apologies or asked about our stay when checking out. The staff clearly don’t care about any kind of customer service. As well as that our bathroom sink wasn’t draining and we were awoken at 6am with what sounded like water gushing down pipes. Just a really disappointing experience.

Second time staying at this ibis Styles. Stayed for one night whilst enjoying some well-earned R&R. Great location, railway stations, bus stations, main shopping, restaurants, and cultural centres are all within easy walking distance.
Funky graphics/decor, depicting the Finnieston Crane and the iconic traffic cone on the Duke of Wellington’s head is found in the rooms and throughout the hotel itself. As are the wall posters with the local Glasgow jargon which are fun.
Room was a decent size, good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient air con/heating, kettle, and hospitality tray. Enjoyed the hotel’s complimentary Tunnocks teacakes and Irn-Bru welcome pack. Didn’t have time to enjoy the well-stocked bar! Good breakfast, plenty of choices. Friendly staff. Hotel stored our luggage pre and post check in/out time which allowed use extra time to enjoy the city centre without having to drag a case around with us (bonus).

Everything was as we expected apart from the bedroom being very cold on arrival. The room did heat up once the heating was switched on but the rooms should not be allowed to get as cold as ours was.
Everything else was as expected and we would go back.

We enjoyed our stay at this quirky hotel.
Lots of Glasgow influences in the decor made us smile. Good breakfast.
Only criticism was the shower was very weak.
