Great day out a spin in the gym followed by a long relaxing couple of hours in the pool followed by the Rasul spa experience

This was a lovely day. Friendly staff, a lovely venue, clean and not too busy. It was everything we needed.

Staff were very nice. Loved the heated loungers and the Relaxation Room. Rasul treatment was very beneficial to my skin. Lovely soup and sandwiches for lunch. Will be back.

Vochure recicved to try mud experience
Staff were short and rude because we were 9 minutes late (can't help crash on motorway when we were travelling to the hotel)
Experience wasn't not as expected or explained...steam took ages to come on and shower was cold.
Soup and sandwhich - better food soup and sandwhiches in greggs

Staff were very good and friendly. Lunch was very poor cold small bowl of soup, and mostly selection of egg sandwiches which none of us eat. Certainly very poor lunch. Treatment was ok but steam took ages to come on and was not on long enough.

It was very busy, kids playing in the pool and no loungers for us to lay on. Staff at the hotel reception were lovely and could not fault her but the staff on the spa reception were just to busy having conversations about there private life and weren't to interested in us. There language wasn't appropriate for the setting we were in (we overheard them while sitting at the seats beside spa reception to fill in the form prior to treatments) the shower in the mud spa was so so cold. Had to stand in our robes to be let through to the changing rooms/pool after our treatment and had to walk up to the reception to get staff to let us through. There was so many people just coming in and out for the gym and also going through to the sauna and steam room. It didn't have the feel off a spa and certainly wasn't relaxing like a spa should be which is really unfortunate.

Lovely visit for rasul treatment, nice and relaxing. We made use of the other facilities too and the pool was nice and warm.
Lunch was soup and sandwiches but we ordered some sides as well which were lovely
Would definitely recommend

Definitely not as expected - the showers in the rasul treatment room were “wild water swimming” temperature and the steam for the treatment didn’t work so we couldn’t benefit from the experience. The Spa was overbooked with itison vouchers so it was extremely busy and difficult to find space to change and move around the changing rooms. The light lunch was very light - 2 small bowls of soup and 3 finger sandwiches between two people and tea/coffee was extra and had to be purchased separately. Suggest the area for the spa clients in restaurant is located closer to the entrance so spa clients in bath robes don’t have to walk through the restaurant to get to their table ! The lights went out in the spa and we were left in complete darkness in the swimming pool for approx 10 minutes - no one came round to explain what happened or check guests were ok - overall a very disappointing but memorable experience (for all the wrong reasons).
