Access to the play area as part of the deal would be appropriate.
The cafe was not up to the standard expected

Provide an indication of how long the walk is so as to give parents of very small children an opportunity to think if the activity is appropriate for little legs or a pram. It is certainly doable for small children but a little advance planning would help. I had to carry my son for most of the walk and it was okay because we had family with us but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without that help.

8 year old grandson and he friend (and the grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our walk with Cole the young black alpaca). We bought some food to feed Cole half way along our walk, which he really enjoyed.
We also met Eric and Dolly, the vocal donkey’s and saw lots of very cute Pygmy goats.
Jack was a very friendly and informative guide. We all had a lovely and enjoyable visit.

On arriving I didn't find it very well signposted and had to stop in at the main reception to find out where I was going. My 3 children ranging from 14-7 all enjoyed the activities however I found them not very well signposted and we wasted 20 minutes or more trying to follow the staff members direction. (We had actually passed the start, it just didn't have a sign). Staff in the Action Glen reception and the cafe were helpful

Be prepared if you're going to pay for everything!!! I asked when we booked if we could bring a picnic, and was told food was available to purchase on site. When we arrived it was £3.50 for a hot dog (no chips or anything included). Works out expensive for a family of 4. Adults are not allowed to play crazy golf/foot golf etc etc without paying, so our kids (6&8) played alone and got bored quickly. Apart from the climbing castle (which looks much bigger in the pictures!) and the bouncing pillows (where adults were playing on the ones for under 6s, meaning many families with wee ones turned away) there wasn't much for our kids to do, certainly didn't fill a whole day. A bit disappointed as for £20 for 2 kids I expected more.

We had a lovely time walking the Aplacas at Crieff Hydro Action Glen with our grandchildren 4 & 9. There were 4 of us, I mainly walked with my 9 year old granddaughter with the Alpaca and my husband walked with the 4 year old behind us. We were lucky the weather stayed dry for the walk. It was also very scenic. Ryan our guide was very friendly.
