We were meeting up with our friends who traveled from Dunfermline to celebrate the ladies birthdays.
The lunch was excellent specially as my friend is celiac and Barolo do a separate gluten free menu which is very good.
We had purchased the voucher which included four courses plus a cocktail.
We have had this before with the same friends so knew what to expect.
Everyone enjoyed the experience.

Had a terrible experience, last night at Barolo. What was meant to be a nice birthday celebration turned out to be very disappointing. I have dined in all sister restaurants prey and they have been truly outstanding, however this one was a total let down. Started was supposed to be calamari but what was presented to me was more like small fried scraps from the fryer. Disgusting!!! Main course was a king prawn pasta with no king prawns in the dish. I complained to the waitress and she was lovely and apologised after noticing I hadn’t touched my meal. She sent her manager over who cracked a joke by saying that Scotland didn’t have king prawns!! Which I did not find amusing. Birthday dinner disaster.
