Hotel has a lovely ambience, rooms very comfortable and warm. Excellent meal but a little chilly in the dining room. It was an exceptionally cold day though. Lovely coal fires to sit around and very generous hospitality with goodies with the Prosecco.

Only one grumpy member of staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Clean room and bathroom. Would return again. Thank you

Room was lovely. Staff did not really engage in most areas. Food was average at best. Great if you like a plate filled with chips. When checking out, the receptionist did not even ask if we had enjoyed our stay. Very disappointing as the building and surroundings are amazing.

A fab hotel in all ways.
Only one criticism. The valley view room (225) was not worth the £30 upgrade. It was a very small window covered with bird droppings and only a partial view.
