The staff were very nice .
The shower was very big but very slippy
No mat to stand on in shower
Hot tap in wrong position kept putting it of when turned around.
The menu was very sparse not a lot off choice.

My husband is disabled but Pine Trees went out of their way to find a suitable room in the coach house and ramps into main building. Wonderful food. . We particularly liked the polite way the chef handled disgruntled Dutch couple.

We arrived after the time stated, there was no one at the reception, our room was not ready. After a short wait we were show to the room which was at the very top of the house up the main staircase then along corridors down more stairs then up two lots of stairs to a rather small room. After reading the history of the house which was downstairs for all to read I was convinced that our room had in its day been the servants quarters. Definitely not four star.
However in saying that I will say that the food was very good, it was four star.
The staff were young and could have been better trained.
We were surprised to learn that the hotel would be closing for renovations at the end of April for two months May and June which I would have thought would be there busiest period.
