Delicious afternoon tea served in impressive surroundings. Friendly, welcoming staff in a relaxed atmosphere. The museum is also worth visiting. It tells the story of Kate Cranston and her involvement with Charles Rennie McIntosh and his wife, Margaret McDonald. I particularly liked the detail of how the designs were actually made but their expert craftsmen - and women. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Have been before but hadn’t experienced the exhibition. It was really lovely and enjoyed by myself and my friend. From entering we were made feel most welcome and I was delighted that there was such an enthusiasm for the whole subject and enjoyment in passing on information.

I expected it to be really good but it was better than I expected. Nothing could be improved.
Everything was perfect. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant and could not be nicer. The food, drink, service and the exhibition was brilliant. It all contributed to a fantastic day out.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the food good with an amazing variety of teas from which to choose. It was also fun to dress up as Miss Cranston or Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
