The food was delicious especially the haggis pie and haddock croquette.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the surroundings were very relaxing.
We both enjoyed our visit and will definitely be doing it again.

We arrived sharp for our afternoon tea with champagne for 3 people, although I had confirmation of booking they had trouble finding it on their system, I handed over the vouchers and we were shown to our table, I said we are waiting on one guest to arrive at the stated time of 2.30pm, we wondered where she was, apparently they told her at desk there was no booking, how embarrassing! Cremont was served instead of champagne as we were told by a staff member, when we were going to order a another bottle of "Champagne" I was asked again for the vouchers, the staff were not worthy of the 12.5% service charge! Although the aft tea served was nice, the experience was not!

Went with my sister in law and sister for afternoon tea. It was very nice. Savoury pie particularly good. Would personally prefer less cake (4 each) and more savoury.

I love Afternoon Tea at the Register Club, and I like a bargain!
My friends hadn’t been before but this was my 3rd visit, and I organised it.
However, I wasn’t sure if it would still be as good or if the quality of food and care would be the same.
I needn’t have worried, food was excellent, we took some home as there was so much (I’m GF) and it was devoured before bedtime.
From the moment we arrived every member of staff was courteous, chatty, informative, friendly and helpful, the barman made us delicious B52s which he’d never made before, so we had another round, it was lovely ( we might have been a little but loud at one point but no one complained)
We arrived at 14:45, left at 16 45, and it was the best 2 hours. Thank you!

The building is stunning, staff are really friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious (especially the opera cake!) and the Champagne was perfection. 4 of us went to celebrate a 40th birthday and it was the perfect experience from start to finish, would highly recommend!

Was called 24hrs before booking to check regarding food allergies and requirements, I explained one person had an issue with eggs and mayonnaise , they called me back to check if this was one or all 4 persons ( was one) yet when it came egg sandwiches and mayonnaise was on both plates . However another plate was quickly brought. I think the little scones would have been much nicer warmed up. and both the jam and the cream were watery and thin and ran off the scones. Other items were nice though. Staff were polite and helpful although no more tea was offered and I had to ask the waitress. The table that was set for us was at the sofas and low tables ( not suitable to eat at so asked to be moved to a booth (which was done quickly ) we all had a couple of g&t at the sofas after which were very nice. The decor and atmosphere was very nice.
