Stock levels could be improves, no mussels, sticky toffee pudding or beans (maybe they don't do beans) but they had none of these items at opening time on a Tuesday

A really welcoming place, staff very caring. Although it was quiet, ambience was good and the food excellent, different takes on standard dishes which was a really nice surprise.

I visited The Townhouse with 3 friends. The food was superb, absolutely delicious. The staff were very professional and pleasant, very attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful,. The decor was amazing, designed for both physical and psychological comfort. A wonderful venue and a culinary delight.

The food was very tasty & freshly cooked to order, staff were attentive & helpful, but I must say the chef on duty out did herself! My mussels were to die for juicy fresh & plump & a generous serving with a lovely warm sourdough roll, hubby had the ham hock croquettes, which were also very tasty he said & a good size also! We both had the burger & fries which for not burgers lovers were beautifully cooked, succulent & meaty, just gorgeous! The red wine went down a treat also, was lush, had a fantastic experience & would definitely recommend anyone to give it a wee whirl 😁 the restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated & makes for a comfortable dining experience, so 10 out 10 from us all round! Ty once again.
