This was our first visit to Number 10 Hotel. It's a lovely building with a modern cosy atmosphere. We were the only customers there so it was quiet but the service was quick. The only let down was that there were no kitchen staff on duty as there were no restaurant bookings which was a pity as we wanted some hot food to chase away the cold November weather. The afternoon tea was a decent standard with a variety of sandwiches, scones, some small cake bites, small sausage roll and some vegetable pakora for my friend who is pescatarian. The slight negative points we were only given 2 scones, one fruit and one plain, where most other places would give you two of each. The cakes as already mentioned were just bite size, throw it in your mouth and it's gone!! Not the most luxurious or bountiful afternoon tea we've had but nice none the less for the Itison offer.

The food was excellent and it's delivery was speedy. After eating most of the food I enquired when we would be getting our tea. I was told that tea wasn't in my deal as we each had a glass of prosecco. I read the deal to the girl where it explained that tea was in fact included. The girl apologised and delivered the tea speedily.

Found this lovely little hotel on itison for afternoon tea, beautiful old building with amazing decor, friendly attentive staff and really good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Would suggest bit more savoury as the sausage rolls, like a few hot snacks

We paid extra for the bottle of Prosecco and while we were satisfied with the food, we were served sparkling Spanish white wine not Prosecco (not even Cava which would have been an acceptable substitute).
