Hotel is a bit faded and could benefit from some outside redecoration. Room was small but perfectly adequate and clean. Food was good and service was quick. Waiting staff (Tuan especially) were very pleasant. Lovely area to visit and Morar Hotel is well sited to explore the vicinity. We recommend a day trip to Inverie.

Lower prices in the bar would make it more attractive.

The Itison heading "dinner bed and breakfast" was potentially confusing as dinner was only included on the first night. In the hotel's confirmation email Promo night 1,2 and 3 were all preceded by "DBB" although below it listed dinner on the first night and only breakfast on night 2 and 3. To avoid any potential confusion nights 2 and 3 should be headed BB, not DBB.
Apart from that no complaints. Good food and excellent service in the dining room.

Lovely scenery and for two days beautiful sunshine. But drizzle didn’t stop us venturing round about this lovely area. Hotels dining room has been spruced up and serves delicious meals and well presented, staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast choices good.We had a loch view and it was delightful. However I feel one often two beds in the twin room was not comfortable and I think needs replacing. Lumpy and springy! Have used this hotel before and didn’t disappoint .

The Morar Hotel is right next to the railway station and has good car parking. We had a very pleasant 2 night stay whilst walking in the area, having arrived by train. The staff were all friendly, and happy to help in any way they could. We were looked after at breakfast and dinner by Akram and Tuan, who couldn't have been nicer. We found our hotel room to be comfortable, with good heating, hot water and an excellent shower. Note that there are no shops in Morar, so you need to plan ahead for food, though if you have the full breakfast and evening meal at the hotel (recommended) then a small snack plus our water was all we needed for lunch. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the famous Morar Silver Sands were worthy of their reputation. Some walking on quiet roads and on potentially muddy paths was required to see all that Morar has to offer. The larger town of Mallaig is just 3 miles up the road.
