Very friendly staff, warm welcome, room clean and tidy with everything we needed. Large bathroom with fluffy towels. Great location, nice bar area and delicious breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back. Never met such lovely genuine people working in a hotel before and you could see they clearly enjoyed their jobs and were a great team of people. Amy on reception was so welcoming when we arrived and Sam was very entertaining but don’t know anyone else’s names but they were all great…..thank you!!!

The hotel was fairly centrally located (easy walking distance to the Shambles and York Minster); the room was a decent size, as was the bathroom. We had superb breakfasts both days, and enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar - Tim the barman was great company.
The only thing I would change is to provide a softer pillow - I found it slightly uncomfortable to lie on two firm pillows.

Hotel Indigo was so welcoming and friendly, thoroughly enjoyed our mini break. A very good breakfast, which set us up for the day, only requiring a coffee break.

We did enjoy our experience at Hotel Indigo, just a couple of wee tweaks ie rather noisy in the room we were in due to early morning binmen, deliveries etc, refrigeration of dairy products and fresh fruit at bouffet breakfast would be nice and stop using mixed sugar lumps in same jar.

Staff were absolutely great with clients, rooms were spotless and food first class, only downside, had asked for quiet room but delivery vehicles and refuge vehicles at 6am made sure it was anything but quiet. 😥😴
