We were at the fort for dinner with our one year old and it was so stressful however Alastair was our waiter and he was great, so helpful and understanding. He made us laugh and at ease!
I also ordered a meal I didn’t like and he change it for me, explaining similar choices.
He was so lovely to my mum and auntie too who were dining an hour earlier in the same place. They said he was great!
It’s rare to get served by someone who is genuinely friendly, interested in talking to you and helpful to ensure you enjoy your visit.

I got chicken strips and they were way overcooked. They replaced them and it was like night and day. Poor choice of food for my daughter who is gluten and dairy free. They really don’t cater for people like her. She got prawns for and there was 5 prawns and it cost £9.95. Her only other option was nachos and it tells you on the menu they come with plant based cheese and sour cream. When she asked why they weren’t on the plate she got told they don’t have plant based sour cream. Overall not a pleasant meal for us. Wouldn’t go back
