The hotel is perfectly situated next to the river and very close to the main bridge over the river. The welcome was warm and everyone was helpful. The complimentary drinks voucher was very welcome. The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was adequate but could have been better, the eggs were cold and congealed and the breakfast room wasn't very warm.
However, the deal is worth going for if you want a break in Inverness, which is a lovely city

Clean but very dated, single glazed windows in the room & bathroom, extremely chilly. People wearing jackets & coats in the restaurant at dinner & at breakfast. Comfy bed & pillows, low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast poor quality, nothing topped up at the buffet. Disappointing stay.

Very central location on the riverside.
Our second stay at Columba Hotel, as previously staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Room was very comfortable and breakfast had everything required and more.
Already contemplating another visit.

The breakfast was cold, and the breakfast room and bar area was freezing, whereas the upstairs' area was too hot. Reception staff was not very friendly. Our bedding was ripped and asked for a replacement only to come back to the room and all that was done was a blanket put on top. There is no parking. The shower was not powerful and only trickled out water and took about 5 mins to heat up. The hotel was full therefore we could not get another room. This hotel is very dated and requires a full overhaul, would not recommend. This is my first time writing a bad review for Itison in all my years using vouchers.

The negatives of this hotel as it is tired but having said that the bed was comfy and the room quiet. Great for a one or two night stay!

Nice stay, conveniently situated for Eden Court Theater.
The breakfast could be served hotter. Even a warm plate would help. Luke warm food on a cold plate is not appetising at all.

The Columba Hotel is situated in an ideal position overlooking the River Ness. Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant visit. The hotel front is covered in scaffolding.
We arrived fifteen minutes before check in time and were informed, eventually, that we could wait in the bar area until 3pm.
We had dinner on the first evening, the bar staff were pleasant, the meal was good but the waiting time for delivery of the meal was too long.
The hotel breakfast was poor, plates were not heated and the food was not hot.
Bedroom heating was inadequate and the shower room had a lot of black mould on the sealant.
