Although the room was a little tired, the service was impeccable. The food was probably the best I have ever tasted in a hotel. Presentation, taste & quality of food were amazing - congratulations to the chefs. Breakfastsoffered an amazing choice.
The grounds were huge and beautifully maintained. It was lovely having a walk along the banks of the river Tay that flowed through the grounds

We had a room in the main house. Large and of an older style, clean and comfortable.
It is a lovely house on the river with beautiful grounds.
The food was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful.
Maybe a fuller less expensive bar menu would be good if you are staying more than one night.

The interior of the room was tired. The plumbing of the wc was extremely poor. The room above decided when your day started as the floors were extremely creaky.
Breakfast was standard although waiting staff were excellent. Dinner was excellent however drinks were expensive.
A 4 star hotel with no informationm booklet in the room? we had a fire alarm at 6am due to a resident having a shower and not closing the bathroom door…..again no information to advise people.
Beautiful setting.
Wouldn’t return

An excellent retreat for dog lovers as everyone on staff went out of their way to make sure our dog received 5* treatment!
The location is superb if you want peace and space, though the fabric of the Hotel is `tired` in places but kept immaculately clean.

We stayed in Riverside 17 which was a first floor large corner room with a small balcony overlooking the Tay. The bed was comfortable, great shower and bath. The food was outstanding at dinnertime, large choice and excellent tastes. Very friendly efficient staff.
