Beautiful hotel in stunning setting. Warm welcome from staff and shown to lovely large room with excellent views. The evening meal was excellent, very tasty and inspiring.
Couple of comments for feedback: Our amuse bouche and starter both arrived before our wine did, we like to enjoy our wine with the food. In the evening while getting ready for dinner the hot water was only Luke warm and it required 3 kettles to get the bath hot enough. Water was good and hot in the morning though. Sadly after dinner, the fire in the lounge had gone out and no one tried to relight it, it was a little chilly at only 9.30pm.
Despite these comments I would still definitely return and stay again. Food really was very good and it felt like a proper country house hotel, overall a very comfortable stay.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel is in a stunning location with views out to the loch, there are great walks in the surrounding countryside. Isabella & her team are so helpful & friendly, dinner & breakfast were fantastic with fresh locally sourced produce. Cosy bar area with log fire & relaxing lounge. Very comfortable bed & lovely Laura Thomas toiletries.
The hotel & food exceeded our expectations we couldn’t fault it!

To be perfectly honest, I’m not a great fan of high end hotels: paying way too much money for the same, or sometimes a lesser, service as I would in a homely B&B seems ridiculous to me. However, Kinloch Lodge is different: you feel as though you’ve been invited to stay in someone’s home by the sea, while at the same time being treated to great food and service. It appeals to me in so many ways as I’m such a fan of a great view and good walks from the door - both of which you’ll find at Kinloch. There are welcoming wood burning stoves in the bar and the lounge and a fire pit, burning away outside - a great place to have a wee dram before dinner. I always have a complete heart sink moment when I see a vast continental style buffet of breakfast ‘starters’ as you just know that it creates so much food waste, but at Kinloch it’s all made to order so it’s fresh and delicious and you only order what you plan to eat. We’d bought an itison deal for two nights with a 3 course dinner each night, breakfast and a glass of fizz on arrival - all of which we got without being made to feel as though we were second class citizens, or being given a different menu to the full paying guests, which isn’t true of a lot of places we’ve stayed. We were also blessed with the best weather and Skye is the most stunning of islands so we had such a great trip.
