We've stayed at Tullie Inn before and had a lovely time. This time, not so much. We arrived on Thursday, 27th March 2025, and were given room 10, which is a nice size room with a bath and shower. However, the room has a run on the floor. When you sit on the bed, your feet are higher than your body, and there is also a large fan outside the window that you can constantly hear. There is single glazing, and we had hoped closing the curtains would drown out the noise. It didn't. I felt sick in the room as it reminded me of being on a ferry. I have a fear of the sea and ferries! We asked to be moved rooms. We were moved to room 7, which was extremely small, box room size, with a small shower, and the tv kept losing signal.
A 2 course meal was included. We had Hunters Chicken each and the Brownie for dessert. The chicken was a very small portion that arrived in a circular dish covered in cheese. So much cheese. We had chips, and there was a side of vegetables; garden peas and what looked like dried tomatoes. This should've cost £16 odds. The dessert was a brownie with marsh mallows on top. At the side of the plate, there was cherry sauce, ice cream, and chocolate sauce. This should've cost almost £7.
Had we paid full price for this meal, we wouldn't have been happy!
On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
On the day we left (Friday 28th March), there was no member of staff at the bar area for us to check out. We simply left the key to the room on the bar and left.

Having informed Tullie Inn I was Gluten Free I arrived at breakfast and was told the staff member forgot to get GF things from the supermarket. So I only had a cup of tea for breakfast. The room was clean as was the bed and bathroom but public areas needing an awful lot of money spent on it. Would not book it again. Nor recommend this to anyone.

The room was lovely and shower hot but bath water lukewarm and there was a stain on duvet but we just turned it over and all was well

Accommodation was very nice. We had a comfy Super king bed. Location is great.
Staff were fantastic.
The food was not so good and took absolutely ages. It was like microwave meals. The staff recognised this and covered our drinks. I would stay again but eat elsewhere.
