My issue is that the Kenmuir Arms decided to use the voucher to pay for a BBQ on the Saturday at a ticket price of £15 per person.
We were charged the full amount of £68 for a 2 course meal on the Friday. We did not receive a welcome drink.
The Chef/Patron offered an explanation about a tasting menu including the famous pies but they are not gluten free ( my wife is GF) and only a cock-a-leekie option was visible on the specials board. There was no mention of Starter/Dessert on the Specials Board - only pie and Veg priced at £22
If trying for a Michelin Star - this kind of behaviour will not help.

Nothing to improve in this gem of a place. We will definitely be back. We've already recommended it to friends and family.

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff were fantastic. The food was excellent and the wine pairing with is a must. Can't wait to return in the future 😁

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening spent at the recently and tastefully renovated hotel. The manager was most welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. The snug and cosy bar seems to be enjoyed by visitors and locals alike. Dinnner was quite exceptional. Only think I could think of improving would be some way of dulling down the bright green light on the bedroom ceiling.
