Really enjoyed a trip to Fraserburgh, and to The Captain’s Table. A warm welcome from the young lass who was our server, sorry didn’t get name. On her recommendation I opted for the breadcrumbed fish. It was chunky and delicious, the same with the battered. Homemade Chips brilliant, so much better than frozen. An altogether lovely meal washed down with pots of tea.
The restaurant and toilets were spotless!! Very nice chatty staff and customers. Will look forward to a return visit, hopefully soon.

On arrival we were seated at the cosy and well laid out restaurant, service was very friendly explaining every aspect of what was on offer, food arrived after a reasonable time, and it did not disappoint, fish was probably the best (white flesh) we have ever been served, with proper chips mushy peas and a wee pot of tartare sauce, together with a pot of tea, bread and butter.
It was quiet when we were there but atmosphere was nice, facilities were 1st class, I think the toilet (gents) had been fitted that week - spotless.
Location is next door to Bellslea Bar / football ground- so perfect for match day too 👍🏻
Nice experience - hopefully all that we experienced is maintained - would recommend.
