I slipped & fell outside as they took us to use the service lift due to hotel lifts being out of order. They phoned for a paramedic but no apology was offered plus nothing to say sorry such as complimentary drinks or food. Thankfully I didn’t require hospital admission but I was very shaken as was my son. This was a treat we booked after I recently got diagnosed with MND & the way we were treated by the hotel was so disappointing. I asked for an accident form to be filled out before we left the next day but were kept waiting for this to be filled in. The duty manager even asked if I could have fell due to my MND which was so insensitive & upsetting. The hotel then charged my credit card for both of us plus the room service which my son had been told wouldn’t be charged to my credit card so I’m waiting on that being refunded. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone !!

Friendly staff.
Room clean but basic. No aircon. No extractor fan in bathroom. Room looked over busy road, so there was a lot of traffic noise.
No glasses of any description in the room. Had to call reception twice to get glasses delivered to the room.
Breakfast was poor. Very little fruit on offer. Hot dishes had been out for some time, so were very dry.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grosvenor in Glasgow. The rooms were spacious and clean also well equipped.
Breakfast was lovely and room service was prompt and reasonably priced. Only problem one issue marred our stay. We left our car in the spaces provided nearby but unfortunately when we returned to our car someone had dented our passenger side door! We appreciate that we parked our car at our own risk but it spoiled a lovely weekend.

Hotel was evacuated at 6.10 am and had to stand out on freezing cold for ages. Left and came home and didn’t get any breakfast!!
Wouldn’t stay there again .

We've stayed at the Grosvenor several times in the past, always when it was a Hilton Hotel, and it was always really good. It had gotten a bit too expensive in recent years so we were very pleased to see a reasonably priced ITISON offer and booked a two night stay for my Birthday. I hadn't realised that it had changed hands and was no longer a Hilton, and it shows. The Reception Staff were lovely and very helpful, and the Hotel, in general, is still quite nice, but it seems to me that they are struggling to maintain standards. We arrived on a Wednesday and were supposed to receive a welcome drink, but the Hotel Bar ( BeGin ) was closed. We had to have our drink in Bovine Restaurant, which didn't open until 5pm, and we were made to feel very much in the way by the quite cold, Blonde Woman, who appeared to be in charge. BeGin was open on Thursday, but was very short staffed, causing quite a wait for service. I asked for a drinks Menu but was told there wasn't one, and that "it's just what you see". Breakfast was of pretty poor quality, there was only one Coffee machine for the whole service. It wasn't working the first day, so we were left a packet of Nescafe Instant and had to make our own using flasks of ( not very ) hot water. The biggest issue was that we had to change rooms twice as there were plumbing issues in the first two rooms we were allocated. The Reception Staff dealt with the issues quickly and efficiently, and we were given complementary drinks as an apology, but they didn't seem at all surprised by the issues I reported. All in all, our stay wasn't bad, but was certainly far less pleasant than we had expected.
