Definitely not as expected - the showers in the rasul treatment room were “wild water swimming” temperature and the steam for the treatment didn’t work so we couldn’t benefit from the experience. The Spa was overbooked with itison vouchers so it was extremely busy and difficult to find space to change and move around the changing rooms. The light lunch was very light - 2 small bowls of soup and 3 finger sandwiches between two people and tea/coffee was extra and had to be purchased separately. Suggest the area for the spa clients in restaurant is located closer to the entrance so spa clients in bath robes don’t have to walk through the restaurant to get to their table ! The lights went out in the spa and we were left in complete darkness in the swimming pool for approx 10 minutes - no one came round to explain what happened or check guests were ok - overall a very disappointing but memorable experience (for all the wrong reasons).

Staff were more interested in gossip than welcoming someone new to the spa. Staff had also booked treatments and were rude to others waiting on treatments. Mocked people in the waiting area, took over lounge areas. Granted they were paying for rhe experience too but you'd think they would be nice to customers, offer knowledge of pool area, help direct those lost, even on their down time since they are the face of the business.
The treatment itself was a bit of dud experience.
The light lunch, from what we sampled- the soup was spicy for being Lentil and the sandwiches were hard and frozen. I'm aware its difficult to cater for all and prep what you can but it was unedible. Some staff were attentive to details others were new to the role and not had training and others were not stepping in to support.

The spa facilities were great, very relaxing, the radial treatment was the best part. We had the voucher which included a light lunch which was very light so something to consider if using this option but there is a full menu and the afternoon tea looked fab! All in all I had a fantastic day and left feeling very relaxed and refreshed

Thought the lunch was good but a bit of a small portion of sandwiches other than that very good experience, facilities are very nice

Bought a Spa Break as gift for partner and Daughter as a nice relaxing Spa Break. Bought top package as looked great on advert, looked peaceful and relaxing. Reality was a disappointing facial treatment that Daughter said felt like lady taking treatment was just slapping her face for 30min and then felt couldn't use facilties as a sauna or swim would wash the treatment off. Facilties access would be better before having any spa treatments done. Place was mobbed and all areas advertised as nice relaxing places to chill and unwind were packed full with people and nowhere to go. Pool was busy too. Disappointed and wasn't the luxury Spa Break as expected.

Pool, steam room, sauna and spa rooms all great. Lovely treatments. The changing rooms and toilets are tired and in need of TLC - wood worn and tatty, buttons missing off toilet flushes, fittings rusted, soap and shower gels empty. This area lets it down a lot. But aside from that, I had an enjoyable time.

We have a whole day at the spa, a relaxing workout in the gym followed by a deadline free sit in the steam room and sauna. Then a swim before the Rasul session.

I had been before and recommended it to my 3 friends. They too enjoyed the full experience. I personally found the distribution of steam lacking in our side of the cabin ( same last time ) The marble inside takes quite a while to warm up .However the good supply of Rasul mud made up for that . Lunch I was fine . Christmas decor very cosy too .
