This was the 4th Murder/Mystery event we went to in the last couple of years. The hotel and the staff are lovely and the hotel perfectly situated in the middle of the town. The food is always lovely and plentiful. However the event was seriously overbooked and it was long tables very close together instead of usual round tables for 8. I personally couldn't turn my seat round to see behind me and as I have mobility problems, so that was very uncomfortable. People did not respect the actors when doing their part, they were shouting and chatting at their tables even though they were asked several times to be quiet. It was more like a Christmas Party night out for some, get legless, and the lady behind my daughter lay sprawled across the table towards the end. Such a pity because we have visited Fishers for years and never seen a night like it. I would still visit the hotel as it is such a charming place to stay and the afternoon tea is great too. Would maybe not go back to a Murder Mystery though. Was told they knew that people weren't happy about the seating and on checking out a lady was asking for their money back.

The hotel was warm and welcoming but the so called mystery night was more like a badly acted farce. It also meant that the three course meal lasted 3 hours! There was no mystery, very little entertainment value and definitely too much holiday camp stupidity. But some of the other 200 guests might have enjoyed it. Not for me.

Went to fishers hotel for a murder mystery night hotel was lovely meal for the murder mystery night was excellent but the actual murder mystery entertainment was a shambles 4 actors who seemed like they were just making it up as they went along had no flow in the story no murder till right before the end so no time to spend chatting with fellow guests to try and figure out what had happend even though it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out would definitely recommend the hotel but avoid the murder mystery nights

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Fishers Hotel. The staff were professional, proficient and helpful. The hotel was very busy but it felt nothing was too much trouble for them.
The murder mystery event was 3 hours of my life that I want to forget. The company aT our table helped to make it a slightly more bearable experience. The set menu and food was good. They were able to accommodate one of our parties dietary needs.
However that’s where it stops!
The very loud drunks on the table behind us and the pantomime of a performance made this an awful experience. We could not hear the actors, the theme was cringe worthy. We felt like we were in the cheap seats and the butt of the poor taste jokes. The event bore no resemblance to the hotel description of these events, or previous murder mystery nights we have attended.
We met some me lovely people and enjoyed spending time Pitlochry and looking forward to returning, just not for a murder mystery night!

Myself and my friends had a great time at The Fisher's Hotel. They are very well organised from booking in to the Murder Mystery, The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the food was delicious. Well worth the price, treat yourself.

We had been a year ago and it was brilliant but this time it was not good.
Them show was all over the place and we had no idea what was going on as the performers were screeching rather than talking.
The food was also a let down the sticky toffee pudding was solid.
The room was clean and bed was comfortable but we were kept awake with the TV from next door

The organisation of this event was well executed. The timing of the acts between serving food was spot on. The food was delicious. The staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel was spotless, the bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend this event and hotel
