We stayed for two nights and found the location to be charming and comfortable with stunning views of the countryside and gardens. The staff could not do enough for us and were incredibly helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was beautiful! Our only regret is not booking the spa!! If we are in this area again I would rebook in an instant.

The hotel was nice, however you got charged for absolutely everything.. £5 for an ice bucket for wine you bought from the bar.
It was a special occasion was my partners birthday so we upgraded room, not sure what that included because we didn't have robes, asked at the spa how much it would be to use the pool £25 each then a further £5 for a gown, so that would be £60 for both of us to have a swim. Also we booked for 2 nights so only got dinner 1 night, the Friday we arrived we ordered room service and we were charged £10 for each tray of food on top of what we bought sp that was £20 on top of.the food bill. As I said the staff were all amazing but I would have been cheaper at Gleneagles. The hotel rips you off the moment you walk in the door. Such a shame as the hotel was a bit dated but couldn't fault the staff.

The staff were very nice and efficient. The accommodation was not as expected. Our room was a short walk from the main hotel which was a bit of a pain because the weather wasn't too good and we would often get wet.
The food wasn't very appetising.
Overall not a good break away.
