This is a hidden gem - a lovely community cafe tucked away in the grassmarket.
Very nice cakes and friendly staff - it seems to be a busy hub serving the local community.

Only one problem. We went on a Sunday morning and it was closed for a private function so we had to go back the following week. Otherwise, very good.

As above. We are regular patrons and find Coffee Saints a convenient and usually not too busy stop off for a coffee. We had the brunch option and the only down side was that due to their suppliers letting them down, they had no eggs available which restricted the choice somewhat.
