AVOID!!! I had a terrible experience at Kinara restaurant last night. I went with my friend and 2 kids.
We had an itison voucher and were entitled to 4x drinks and asked for 2 white wines & 2 rose wines. Me and my friend were given 2 wines each at the same time which I found a bit odd considering wine is chilled and the other would be room temperature by the time one had been drunk. When I asked if I could have l of our wines back in the fridge until we were ready a women named 'savannah' was rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable as if I was asking a stupid question. We then seen savannah and the other waitress coming towards us to serve us our food, they dropped a piece of our nan on the floor, picked it up and placed it on top of our fresh nan. I was in absolute shock how they thought this was acceptable. They denied what happened and offered a fresh nan which we rejected. I was paranoid to eat the rest of my dinner to think how uncleanly the restaurant is if this is what they were doing in front of people. I will never return to this restaurant. We had already purchased the voucher and had an outstanding bill of £40, they wanted to charge full price until we mentioned that we should be getting something off as our meal and whole experience was ruined. After a lot of back and forth they finally gave us 20% off the bill which I still find shocking considering the voucher was already paid and redeemed. None of the staff could tell me the managers name and mentioned that they were all new. I am livid and will never get over this experience and would like to take this further one way or another, if the manager can contact me that would be appreciated.

Restaurant was really busy, so great atmosphere. Choices on the set menu were a bit limited and we actually found the starter choices were a bit too spicy for us. Main course portions were good value and just right size and tasty. Only thing was we weren't really offered a dessert menu or extra drinks when we were finished, so felt like we were just shuffled along and encouraged to leave as soon as two courses were over.
It's a nice place and might go back, but think they need to make set menu/voucher customers feel a bit more welcome.

Food was tasty and the 6 small plates were very adequate sized portions for 2 people, beautifully presented.

Kinara’s food is s modern twist on traditional Indian food.
It is delicious with lots of new flavours. Both meat and vegetarian dishes are great.
The surroundings are lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended

The restaurant is lovely - very clean and well appointed. The staff were extremely good. We had pakora which was top class. The choice of curries was very limited and didn’t really suit our taste. I suspect the recipes may have been from a different part of India. Not very spicy and more herbs. It was still a lovely meal.
With a bigger choice of curry we would go back
