We were sat at the front window and the room was cold. Thali platter dinning a strange experience as no plates to put the food on. Sorry not my cup of tea.

Thought the decor was very nice, all quite new looking. Good service from the 2 young people but as far as our menu choices went on the Itison deal we felt they were too restricted unless we paid a £4 supplement. The curries we decided to choose without paying extra were nice.

We had 2 non-veg thali, paid £35 for itison deal instead potentially £52. Food was nice but we left still hungry! Thali is meant to be small but decent portions of main dishes, like Spanish tapas, but these were disappointingly tiny, between half or 2/3 of the thali cups. The 2 non-veg dishes contains 1-2 small pieces of chicken, while 3rd dish was veg daal. If I’d paid full price for this obvious under sized portions I would be livid, well more livid than I was when we left.

Open up the main and side dish options- otherwise it’s just chicken curry with rice or naan, which is fine in itself but this could have been clearer on the voucher. Anything else was a £4 sir charge and it starts to defeat the point and ruin the enjoyment.

A hidden gem of a restaurant. Would definitely recommend Madha - the food was so delicious. The service was excellent and lots of advice and suggestions were offered. I will be going back!
