Visited for the first time with a friend and enjoyed the day but not sure if I would return. With the Itison voucher ( £75 each ) we had full use of the gym, swim, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi tubs between 10am and 6pm which was great. The lunch I choose of soup with bread roll and a chicken tikka wrap was delicious and the 2 spa treatments I choose included in the voucher - frangipani facial and neck, back and shoulder massage were excellent. My only issue was the leisure suite reception desk/area.There was nothing special about it at all like you would normally expect at hotel type facilities, infact it was similar to ones at your local council leisure facilities. We came out of the pool, with swim costume and robes on, we had to navigate back through metal barriers and past people coming for gym or swim only in order to get to the spa rooms which are set up really nice and very relaxing. So all in all we did enjoy the day but I feel there are nicer places to spend your hard earned cash on for a spa day.And last but not least the staff were all very pleasant.

Our spa day was fantastic, staff friendly and treatments great. We also got to use the swimming pool which was good before our treatments, and lunch included, served by Jan, who was very friendly.

Treatments were fantastic - Nicols my therapist was very professional explained procedures and listened to me . I would request her next time . My friends therapist Sarah was excellent too . The lunch was adequate but had been cut from 3 to two courses . Soup was very tasty and the wrap was too . A good spa day

The spa experience was excellent. Unfortunately after this it went downhill, the facilities were extremely busy & there was no where to relax in the pool area, post our treatments. We did enjoy the pool but couldn't use any other facility (sauna) as it was constantly full.
Lunch was In a nice area but our order was wrong & we had to repeat it a number of times.
Overall we would defiantly go back for spa treatments.

The only thing which wasn’t enjoyable was the food., we were on an itison desk with 2 course lunch.,choice was soup and selection for wraps. However no wraps available at 12 o’clock in the day. Can’t say lunch was great at all. Would certainly use the spa facility again but don’t think the food is great.,

Booked the spa day with 2 treatments and lunch.
The treatments were amazing, would definitely recommend if you want to feel relaxed. We used the sauna, steam room and pool before having our lunch. The facilities are good and the food was nice too

After looking at the reviews for lunch I wasn’t hopeful, but the staff were lovely. We both had the soup to start with. It was ok could have been a little warmer but the small roll that came with it was hot and delicious. We then had the wrap this was very cold as if the whole thing was out the fridge. It came with some lettuce with a dressing which was lovely.. but with a bit more thought the two course lunch could be much better. The facial , back neck and shoulder massage was easily one of the best I have had. We never had time for pool etc . But overall a great experience.

We had a lovely day at the spa but disappointed neither of us were allowed a massage. I think the hotel should have stated on the voucher they don't allow anyone who has had an operation in the last 6 months or if you've had cancer in the last 5 years to have a massage. We wouldn't have bought the voucher. We have both had massages at other venues without any issues but if this is their policy then it should be advertised. They have also changed the lunch menu and it's not as good now but we enjoyed the facilities.
