Pleasant day there with good, friendly service and plenty to eat.
Quality of coffee did not match quality of food.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Plenty tea and coffee and refills were provided when required.

The afternoon tea itself was nice although I really don't think we needed 6 scones there was only 3 of us, maybe a wee alternative a wee light sponge cake. We unfortunately had to ask for sugar for the coffee and we got 2 bits of butter when there was 3 of us also I had to ask for our drink that came with the afternoon tea.

The service was friendly right from the start. Afternoon tea was well presented and tasted fantastic. The mini Lemon Meringue pies were a particular highlight. The setting is beautiful. The smell and appearance of other diners lunches has definitely tempted us to make a return trip for lunch.

I loved the food but would ideally like more sandwiches/ savoury items and less cakes.

Looked run down, cracked window pane, splitting parquet floor, just a general air of neglect. The food and drink was adequate but not anything special. Service was very good and the staff were very nice. This boutique hotel was described as shabby / chicqe but it was more shabby than chicqe
