Good service, excellent food and very pleasant staff. This was our first visit, but certainly not our last.

Menu was fine. Food excellent except for steak being more rare than medium but this may be a matter of taste. Service was also excellent. Worth the value of the voucher.

The Itison voucher 3 courses are off the the Summer Dining special menu which is normally available up until 6pm but the Itison voucher means you can choose off it in the evening.
Choice of 4 starters including Glazed Chicken wings and cod bites. Both were great.
Mains included an Iron Steak and Koffmann chips. Again this dish was lovely.
Puddings were excellent including sorbet, ice creams and my favourite Hot Chocolate Brownie with Salted caramel ice cream!!
Happy to recommend the food.
Extra drinks were city centre prices with Draught beer around £7 and cocktails around £15. The same price for spirits with a mixer.

Booked between lunch & dinner so restaurant was fairly quiet. Friendly welcoming staff and we got to choose a good table. The food was delicious, perfect timing between courses. Very impressed all round and will return. Thank you.

I was sceptical as Gordon is so critical of everyone else that I wondered if his own food was going to be good! I was very pleasantly surprised that it was good.
My starter of crispy cauliflower florets with coconut yoghurt dressing and lime was something different. It was really delicious! My husband enjoyed his cod bites in batter.
For main course we had the chicken in a bun burger -it was very nice although we weren't that keen on the hard boiled egg- actually, I didn't mind it but my husband didn't like it. Perhaps cheddar cheese or another nice cheese would have been better?
Chips were extra-but they were lovely-nice and crispy.
For pudding my husband had cheesecake -it could have been a bit more solid-it was more like a mousse but it was nicely presented . I had the chocolate brownie- it was absolutely gorgeous.
We were a bit taken aback by the wine prices as they were quite high per glass. Maybe London prices?
However, all in all the meal was and the staff helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be going again-and my teenage son wants to come along next time too!

Why did we wait so long to try Bread Street Restaurant :-). We had an exceptional experience, from the booking, the warm and welcoming customer service. Loved the fact that you could see the chefs. The food was beautifully presented, and really did taste as good as it looked. The handling of the allergy requirements the best we have experienced. Giving us great peace of mind. A fabulous ambience, love the attention to detail with the water jugs. All the staff made our visit a very special experience, especially as it was my Dad's birthday and they presented him with a beautiful birthday plate :-). We can't wait to return VERY soon. Thank you to EVERYONE at Bread Street Kitchen.

The food was nice I didn’t like any the mains on the set menu so I had a starter and a pudding which were both delicious but the voucher wasn’t really a bargain I paid £45 and 2courses from the set menu was only £17 each so that is only £34 so what we got was 1 glass of Prosecco free and the coffee which I don’t drink
But nice place though the drinks are eye wateringly expensive
