By and large the staff were pleasant . When we arrived there were very few guests. The atmosphere felt like being in a library, it was silent and unwelcoming. A little background music would have made it feel more cheerful. It was also extremely cold and we had to ask for the heating to be switched on in the bar. On the plus side the lunchtime food was very tasty.

Our experience was most enjoyable, and every bit what we expected. There was a power cut in the area from 5.30pm to 11.10pm and the staff went above and beyond to look after us, providing candles in the bedroom, making sure we were ok and plenty candles in the lounge with a lovely roaring fire.
Can't think of an improvement and can't wait to return.

Our stay at Eshott Hall was simply divine...
Staying in the Stables you had all the benefits of the main hall but you felt like you were alone in the woods with just the singing birds for company.
Food was delicious from filling breakfast to delicious dinner.
Everyone was so welcoming, including to our dog.
Cannot recommend Eshott Hall highly enough!
