Booked afternoon tea for 1pm but advised on arriving that exact time did not matter and that we should go and use the leisure facilities first. Whilst in pool area, chatted to other guests who had been told that they had to go for their afternoon tea at the pre-booked time. This caused us to end our pool time earlier than we might have and get showered and dressed quickly as we were concerned we would not get the afternoon tea as we were now 2hrs past our booked time - we were however shown to our table in quite a tired looking room where our afternoon tea was to be served, albeit by quite a disgruntled sounding a member of staff. The afternoon tea consisted of some sandwiches that looked, felt and tasted as if they had been on display for some time, and some quite uninteresting cakes; even the tea pot came with just enough water for one cup of tea, with no offer of any extra water.
All in all this was not quite the afternoon tea experience that we thought it would be. The leisure pool areas are tired, as was the room that the afternoon tea was served in, and the service from some staff members left room for improvement.

Excellent service and have had afternoon tea on 3 previous occasions and could not fault any of my visits. We had, as always a very pleasant afternoon. Thank you Landmark.

This was our first visit for a while and we were looking forward to it . We were taken to a table by a very nice young lady. There were only two other tables occupied so it had a nice quiet atmosphere when our food arrived it had 3 finger sandwiches, egg, smoked salmon, ham also a sausage roll each, small steak pie each, scones with butter cream and jam then a selection of cakes each.Plus a pot of tea for 2.
It was delicious, the best Afternoon Tea in the area.

Lovely food and good variety but put at the end of the bar area which was a bit disappointing. It would have been lovely in the conservatory area which has lovely views of the garden. I was facing a wall! Good variety of drinks after the tea and relaxing in the main bar area.

It was a disappointing afternoon tea I'm afraid. The staff were nice but we didn't see a lot of them and were sort of left to our own devices. After tucking into the sandwiches, which were hard, like they had been made too early and left out, there were little sausage rolls, little steak and gravy pies, which is unusual but once we'd eaten them, and wanted to eat our cakes, there were to clean plates and no staff around to get these for us, so we had to do this ourselves.
We were there for 2.5 hrs and we saw a waitress twice.
Prosecco was included in the deal but we were never offered this, so I had to chase these up.
Not the best experiences and we were there on a Wednesday afternoon, so not an overly busy day.
We won't be back!

One of the best afternoon tea I have had. The mini steak pies were amazing. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive & couldn't do enough for us. My only small niggle is it was quite a walk from the car park to where we were eating. I have mobility issues & it was a bit of a struggle but it didn't spoil my afternoon tea

We love going to Landmark, although I still call it Greystanes which was a much better name. The food is always good and special needs catered for. The service is second to none and our waitress, Oksana, is so kind and helpful.
