Thanks, really enjoyed the afternoon tea! On arrival they showed us to the table with the thrones, great view & felt like a queen! Very pretty & tasty selection, we ate everything & drank the Eden Mill gin! The Radisson Red is a lovely hotel. We enjoyed so much that we stayed & tried some of the cocktails on their menu.

It was terrible. We were seated and the waitress said she would come straight back for voucher code as I didn’t have it ready 20 minutes later they returned. Took our order for tea and gin and tonic. This appeared quite quickly but we were still waiting for our afternoon tea 50 minutes after taking our order. I eventually went to bar to enquire and was ignored completely. I eventually had to ask someone for help after standing at bar for 10 minutes. Our afternoon tea arrived but we requested to change set as we were sitting next to door and it was constant traffic back and forward bumping into my chair. They changed our seat and we sat to eat our afternoon tea. They did apologise for our wait and gave us another gin and a fresh pot of tea ( 1st one was cold). The afternoon tea was minimal with the sausage roll slice cold and greasy the half bao bun was tasteless to be honest we ate the tea in less than 20 minutes as it was bite sized there appeared to be a lot of complaints from nearly every table

The views and space is lovely. The staff were attentive and helpful. I think Radisson are trying to make their afternoon tea a bit different and most of the food was lovely but some was not what I would expect from an afternoon tea, like the sorbet and jelly - I think one or the other, like the sorbet to freshen your mouth after the savouries. I advised of dietary requirements of no dried fruit and anywhere else I've been have made plain scones, but the solution was either have the fruit scone or not which I felt was really disappointing approach/ attitude to what is normally a simple change. So personally, it's not really an afternoon tea as such but we enjoyed most of what we ate and the surroundings really mad it.

I have been a few times and this one was for an afternoon tea for a friends birthday. The bar service was super slow and for some reason there were loads of fruit flies which was not nice when eating but it is what it is.
This visit put me off but hopefully just a glitch.

Slow service - food below average and restaurant far too busy for its size

The afternoon tea looked great when presented. Sadly the taste didn’t live up to the appearance. The candy floss topped smoothie and the scones were the highlight though the tiny amount of cream served with them was watery and unpleasant tasting. A few of the items were savoury on a waffle smothered in bbq sauce, which none of our party of 4 like. The red velvet cakes were tasteless. The pastry with bacon was so chewy it was like leather and all 4 of our part rated it a 5 out of 10. having to wait at the bar for 20 mins for 3 soft drinks while 2 staff were making individual cocktails just added to the pain. Even with the voucher discount, it was a disappointing birthday treat for my daughter.

The staff was rude and didn't bother with us. We had to ask for tea, drinks and then to clear our plates.
We were seated at a tiny table that was tight next to other people when there was plenty other tables but she wouldn't move us.
