There's lots to admire at Gleddoch as per my summary. We were fortunate in that our arrival coincided with lovely sunny weather, which with the hotel being set in an elevated position above the Clyde, gave panoramic view across to Dumbarton Rock. It also encouraged us to use the Spa's outdoor Jacuzzi and afterwards enjoy a drink in the bar's patio.
Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable and we we lucky to be allocated one looking over the Clyde.
The restaurant also takes advantage of the views, both of the golf course and Clyde. Dinner was fine, as was the menu, but we had been expecting something a bit more eye-catching in terms of choice; similarly with breakfast.
Without exception, the staff were extremely helpful and anxious to please.
Certainly the focus is on golf and its Spa and if these are your passions then this is an hotel for you. We were just happy to be well looked after and of course enjoy the views.

Room was nice but looked over car park area which was unfortunate. Small bar was lovely, felt opulent. It was the pool and spa facilities that let the experience down. It was messy, felt unclean, very dark in pool area and facilities overall were unchecked by staff.

The rooms were large and comfortable, staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Food and drinks were great. The only thing that could be improved is the bar and restaurant could have been a little bit warmer otherwise everything was great.

We had a lovely stay - we upgraded our room which I feel was worth it as we couldn't use the spa due to health and safety, so having a nice view etc helped. Food was nice & cooked well. Staff were attentive and in particular the bar tender was fantastic.
Would stay again.

What a relaxing place! Went for a Spa over night with treatments. Staff, facilities, food and massaged all amazing! Can’t complain about a single thing and can’t wait for another visit!!

Hotel was lovely. Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. Spa was nice too but so busy so didn't really get a chance to enjoy it properly. Food was also nice.

Love coming to Gleddoch. As always the team are so helpful and friendly and the spa treatment was amazing. We were so lucky to get a last minute cancellation for a treatment each as we hadn’t been organised enough to book in advance. All worked out wonderfully! We’ll be back soon. It’s such a treat😁

Unfortunately our overall experience of Gleddoch was disappointing and we were left lacking in terms of service and amenities. The initial impression was marred by a driveway covered in potholes. The Nineteenth clubhouse was dirty with most tables not cleared from other guests and the bartender got my drink wrong. In addition to this we could only get a late dinner reservation and we were unable to book breakfast as there was only a very early slot available which didn't suit us. One of the main features of the voucher was breakfast and the fact that we didn't get a chance to experience this has made us feel that we didn't get value for money as we couldn't be accommodated.

Lovely room which we upgraded to.
We arrived a bit early but the receptionist on arrival could have been a bit more friendly / offered to use the spa or offered to call us when the the room was ready.
Spa and pool area was really busy all day. We tried returning at a later time but the beds, heated beds and outdoor spa were full all day. Maybe bookings could be spaced out a bit. Toilets in the changing rooms weren’t very clean or pleasant.
Restaurant staff were pleasant but seemed quite inexperienced and awkward. Receptionist checking out was lovely. Place is great just maybe not as enjoyable as previous stays.
