Had a great few hours looking around and reading all the articles.
Brought back many happy memories of my Grandparents.
One thing I must say it is (was) a very upmarket Tenement House.

Really enjoyed my visit to the Tenement House with my grandchildren. I was able to show them how I had been brought up living in a tenement and they were really interested especially explaining the range in the kitchen and implements we used for preparing and cooking also heating iron on range .

A very interesting couple of hours aided by helpful, friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
I last visited years ago and found it has been somewhat sanitised from then, making it lose some for that original atmosphere.more like an exhibition Which I felt was a pity.

It was much better than I thought. The guides were really informative & took the time to explain various aspects of the house. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It brought back some memories for me but I also think it would be really educational for school children

My sister and I really enjoyed it but our Mother who is elderly and can’t do a lot of stairs couldn’t have gone with us because of the stairs to get into the house. I know it’s the design of the building but I know a lot of elderly people would love this! It’s their era!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The exhibit is incredible and so interesting. Reading the overview downstairs before entering the flat, gave a great insight into the life of Miss Agnes Toward. When you move to the flat you can imagine her life, how she lived. So many interesting things to see and many took me back to my Grandmother's home. Its definitely worth seeing.

The Tenement House is a really interesting place, before my time but close enough that I can recognise a lot of the items used. Makes you appreciate your own life and comforts. Should be on everyone's list of places to see.
